A striking, late-season cultivar originally bred in south Florida as a cross between the Haden and Brooks varieties.

Appearance: Oval-ovate shape, often growing in clusters. It is famous for its brilliant, dark plum-red or violet-purple skin covered in pale yellow lenticels (dots).
Size & Weight: Typically small to medium, weighing less than a pound (around 300–400 grams).
Flesh & Taste: Light yellow flesh with very fine, minimal fibers. It has a mildly sweet, rich flavor with a pleasant, light aroma.Seed: Contains a monoembryonic seed.
Harvest Season: A true late-season variety, ripening from late July through September in its home climate.
Tree Size: A vigorous, fast-growing tree that develops an open canopy. While it can reach 10–15 meters when planted freely in the ground, it grows compactly and adapts well to container or pot gardening.
